Boobie Cactus
Plant of the Week
The Plant of The Week is… The Boobie Cactus!
Famous For: It’s unique, rounded stem segments and bulbous ribs that look like human breasts. Accompanied by the plants areoles that look like nipples!
Native To: Central and northern Mexico.
Pet Safe: Yes, but watch for spikes.
Fun Facts: The Boobie Cactus is a very rare, nursery-produced bumpy mutation of the Blue Myrtle Cactus. Originating from Japan and being named after a Japanese god of good fortune.
Scientific Name: Myrtillocactus geometrizans cv. Fukurokuryuzinboku
Growth: slow growing, 2-4” indoors over a year
Watering: Water more during the spring and summer, reducing the amount in the fall and giving very little during the winter. ALWAYS allow your cactus to dry out completely between waterings.

I came back to buy another roll of this amazing tape! It's reusable, easy to use, and you can adjust length to accommodate diameter of stems. It is strong and sturdy holding huge tomato vines, eggplant, peppers and houseplants of the climbing vine variety! I am giving it as gifts for plant lovers! What a find!
