Unit price perDill is a wonderful herb to have in the garden. It smells wonderful, can be used in pickling and on cooked fish.

Height: 20"
Light: Full sun
Soil: Loose, well drained, dry soils.
Maturity: 12 weeks, begin harvesting when plants are 6" tall. Dill loses its flavour when dried. Freeze it in water in ice cube trays to use it all winter.
Planting: Direct sow into the garden late spring to early summer. Sowing when you put out your cucumber transplants may ensure dill for pickling. Needs some light to germinate, sow seeds no more than 1/4" deep
