On top of being an important early season food source for bees, native purple violets are completely edible. We’ve used the sweet flowers and leaves and paired it with our customer Dale’s 100% Pure Vanilla Extract to craft this syrup. Use this jewel-toned syrup to create incredible cocktails, mocktails or lemonade, pour over waffles, add to tea or use in baking.

Watering: This plant has tuberous roots for storing water so do not overwater! Only water when the top 3" of the soil is dry. They do like high humidity as they are from South Africa, so you can mist them regularly.

Watering: Careful watering will ensure a happy plant. Let top 1" of soil dry out before watering and never allow the plant to sit in water.
